When I first went to talk to FrancoMancini, I didn't know if I was going to be talking to a mafia guy or what I certainly did not expect what I got, which was one of the friendliest, most helpful park representatives I have ever had the pleasure to work with. Not only did Mr. Mancini not blink an eye when I told him I wanted to do a two day underground metal festival, but he gave me the logistics and the procedure on how to do it right there, on the spot. I was Impressed! Mr. Mancini and the friends of McLaren Park have a great space and they know -"if you build it they will come"- Make sure to introduce yourself to Franco when you are at the festival to let him know what you think of the gig and you will recognize him "The Laid-back dude" who is 'runnin things'.
Rampage Radio's Ron Quintana is a man who knows his metal and he saw greatness in the Tidal Wave over 10 years ago. His show ( rampage radio) HAS BEEN ON THE AIR FOR 25 YEARS and is stil heard every saturday night from 2am 'til 8am sunday mornings...
